A Review on the Topic: Self Service Kiosks

I have visited once in a government agency wherein, I have seen a kiosk which functions are; to  mention clients’ priority number, announce the table number of  vacant or free officers to transact with, and to give alarms to whatever information that has been instructed. It’s excellent for that particular agency to have that kind of device, because its helps both clients and officers to experience smooth flow and organized transactions.  

When we say, Self Service Kiosks, it would address to a type of devices or machines that can be carried by everyone and used for a variety of purposes which can be deployed at a wide and variety of places, such as airports, theme parks, malls, hospitals, museum, or any other large campus where arbitrary visitors need immediate access to sources of information that will help them to easily get what they wish to know. It is designed to replace the existing sources of information such as the information desks and bulletin boards, and is designed to improve the access to the existing organizational information technologically based.

This machine offers appropriate and relevant information as requested by the client, so there is no way to encounter hassle of handling numerous transactions in a particular office or agency.

Based on my understanding after reading some documents that dwells on the subject matter (Personal Kiosks), it is better to have this kind of machine, for the reason that, aside from it lifted-up current way of knowing basic information to accomplish various processes, it also give us justifiable advantages and functions. Like, easy access to organizational information of the particular office or institution, good support for access by masses of anonymous users, self explained user interface and etc. Thus, the use of this kind of device is a help to everybody.
